Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use FireRoom.
• Please give accurate information and keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
• You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

Community guidelines

FireRoom is a place of grace. When you post, respond or message, please:

• Speak with kindness and encouragement. Never shame, mock or condemn.
• Keep confessions anonymous: do not include names, contact details or anything that identifies you or others.
• Avoid explicit or graphic descriptions, hate, harassment, threats, spam or advertising.
• Respect the privacy of your partners and group members; don't share what they tell you elsewhere.
• Use the report button when something isn't right, rather than replying in kind.

We may decline, remove or anonymise content, and suspend accounts, that break these guidelines or put others at risk.

Your content

You own what you write. You give FireRoom a limited licence to store, display and process it only so we can operate the service for you, for example delivering a message to your partner or showing an approved confession in the community feed. You can delete your content or your account at any time.

Not a substitute for professional care

FireRoom offers spiritual encouragement and peer accountability. It is not medical, psychological or crisis care. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or to identify anonymous authors.
• Don't interfere with, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't use FireRoom for anything unlawful.

Changes and termination

We may update FireRoom and these terms over time; if changes are significant we'll let you know in the app or by email. You may stop using FireRoom at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these terms.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep FireRoom available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
